Microsoft Office Tip — Sort Messages Quickly in Microsoft Outlook |
|
You can find messages in mailbox folders more quickly by changing how they’re sorted in your e-mail folders. For example, you can arrange your e-mail by:
Date: Groups and sorts messages by date. This can be a good option to see the most recent messages in your Inbox.
From: Groups messages by who sent you the e-mail and then sorts them by date. This option makes it easier to find messages from specific people.
Flag: Find all the messages that you’ve flagged or that require follow-up
Conversation: Find messages by message subject or "thread." This can be an easy way to see all the messages related to a topic after you’ve been out of the office for a couple of days. |
|
To change how messages are sorted:
In the Outlook Navigation Pane, click Mail
On the View menu, point to Arrange By and then click a view option. |
